Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is wanted by Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is keen to add a new central defender in the summer window as he tries to shore up a leaky rearguard.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (23 June) that Man City defender Aymeric Laporte has rejected an approach from Tottenham.

The Lilywhites have turned their attention to alternative targets, and Adarabioyo, 25, is on the shortlist of options.

He is experienced in the Premier League and impressed for Fulham last season as Marco Silva's side finished 10th in the top flight.

Adarabioyo is about to enter the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage.

As such, it is believed Tottenham feel the former Man City star could be available for a cut-price fee.

The former England youth international turned out 29 times for Fulham in the 2022-23 campaign, scoring once.

He has racked up 58 appearances in total in the Premier League - all of which have come with the west London outfit.

Adarabioyo has managed 186 senior career games during his spells with Fulham, Man City, Blackburn Rovers and West Brom.

He earns a reported weekly wage of £40,000-a-week at Craven Cottage.

Tottenham

Tottenham have already lost Clement Lenglet in the off-season, with the left-sided centre-back returning to parent club Barcelona after a loan spell with the Lilywhites in the 2022-23 campaign.
