West Ham are planning to sell Andriy Yarmolenko at a huge £13million loss this summer, Football Insider can reveal.

The winger, 31, has made just one Premier League start this season and has struggled to live up to his billing since joining from Borussia Dortmund for £18million in the summer of 2018.

A West Ham source has told Football Insider that the club have identified Yarmolenko as one senior player they will let go in the summer window.

The Irons will listen to offers for the Ukraine international as he enters the final two years of his contract.

There is an option to extend the deal, but that is a non-starter at this stage.

West Ham chiefs recognise they will have to take a huge hit on Yarmolenko's fee as they prepare to listen to offers.

An offer of between £5-6million could be enough to secure a sale for the left-footed forward.

The Premier League club sold Sebastien Haller at a £20million-plus loss in January to get a high earner off the books and reinvest in the squad.

Manager David Moyes is likely to have to once again sell to buy, and he regards Yarmolenko as expendable.

The 92-times Ukraine international has showed only fleeting glimpses of his matchwinning potential since joining West Ham, with his 53 appearances yielding 10 goals and six assists.

Yarmolenko has been a regular substitute since Haller was sold but has made just one league start among his 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
