Man City supporters are not happy with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma during Pep Guardiola's side's 2-1 defeat at Newcastle.

Harvey Barnes netted twice either side of a Ruben Dias equaliser to secure Newcastle a hard-fought three points over Man City.

Donnarumma joined Man City from AC Milan in the summer, and has become the clubs number one goalkeeper over James Trafford.

Man City are in a title race with Arsenal, but defeat, coupled with Chelsea's 2-0 win at Burnley, has left the Citizens third in the table.

Gianluigi Donnarumma slated for Newcastle winner

Whilst Donnarumma made a couple of crucial stops in the contest, Man City fans could not look over the fact that they believe the 26-year-old cost his side a point.

Donnarumma complained that he had been fouled from a corner, before Barnes swept the ball into the net.

Supporters believe it is a reoccurring issue for the Italian, which Guardiola needs to instantly address, or rivals could target set-pieces as a weakness.
