Celtic value star midfielder Matt O’Riley in excess of £30million after other clubs have registered an interest in signing him this summer, sources have told Football Insider

The Hoops are reluctant to lose the Danish international, but they would be willing to sanction a move if a “huge” offer comes in for him.

Celtic rejected a bid from the La Liga side for the 23-year-old in January and they are expected to be among the interested parties again this summer.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are reluctant to lose O’Riley after he helped them retain the Scottish Premiership title, with his Parkhead contract set to run until 2027.

Matt O'Riley exit could be on cards at Celtic

O’Riley has been in sensational form for Celtic this season, having registered 19 goals and 18 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions.

It is believed Premier League clubs West Ham, Brighton and Everton are all keen on the London-born midfielder, who joined the Hoops from MK Dons in 2022 for £1.5million.

The Glasgow club stand to make a healthy profit if they decide to cash in on their prized asset this summer following the increased interest around him.

O’Riley could be in line to feature for Denmark at the upcoming European Championships after making his international debut in November last year.

Celtic are open to selling O’Riley if their valuation is met, with Rodgers keen to strengthen his squad further on the back of claiming the Scottish Premiership title.

The Hoops could get their hands on another trophy in the coming days as they prepare to face Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.
