Pochettino: This is where under-fire Tottenham attacker will be next season

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has rubbished talk of under-fire Erik Lamela quitting the club this summer.
The 25-year-old has missed much of the current campaign through injury, and has not featured for Tottenham since the EFL Cup defeat to Liverpool at the end of October.
Lamela has since flirted with a potential return to action before the end of the season, but it was revealed on Wednesday that he would not feature again this season and will need to undergo surgery on his hip.
But Tottenham chief Pochettino has confirmed he has no plans to sell Lamela this summer, insisting there was no better place for him to regain his best form.

He told the Standard: “It was so strange to hear him linked to different clubs. He has not played since October and after all he has suffered in the last four-to-five months, do you think he is considering a move away from here?
“Do you think he is thinking about Italy? He is very happy here. He had a problem, he was desperate to try and find a solution and so was the club. It made me laugh every time I heard the rumours.
“Where [would he go]? Now, he needs help. Who could help him more than we could over the next few months? I think you know the answer better than me. It doesn’t make sense [that he would leave].”
Lamela is set to begin surgery on his hip problem in Barcelona on Saturday, having spent much of the new year working with physio Damiano Stefanini at his former club, Roma.
But his extended absence has also seen him return to Argentina for a family matter at the end of last year.
The Tottenham attacker has made 119 appearances for the club in all competitions since his £30million move from Roma in 2013, scoring 19 goals.
