Pochettino and Tottenham senior player in training ground bust-up

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he was involved in a training ground bust up with premier goalscorer Harry Kane over practice drills.
The Tottenham boss confirmed to the Express that the striker had questioned his training regime, in a revelation that could spark panic among the club’s supporters.
Tottenham fans will be worried that the argument could jeopardise the relationship between the two senior figures, who have been instrumental to the club’s rise into the Premier League’s elite in recent years.
However, Pochettino revealed that the disagreement between the pair was nothing too serious, insisting that he had merely denied Kane the opportunity for extra training.
He told the Express: “Sometimes Harry is upset because he wants to practise his finishing on the afternoon and we say no, it’s not the right moment.

‘Tomorrow’, I’ll promise. ‘No, but I want to do it today in the afternoon; I want to do a double session.’ I say ‘Harry, no. Harry, no!’ ‘Oh gaffer, come on! I feel good, I am not tired!’
“Then, even though I don’t think it is the best thing for him, I would end up saying, ‘Okay, maybe half-an-hour finishing’ – even though it meant we needed to call two or three keepers from the academy to go in goal.”
The extra finishing training does, however, appear to be paying off. Kane is the leading English goalscorer in Europe this season, and currently sits atop the goalscoring charts in the Premier League with 17 goals.
The 23-year-old looks set to score more than 20 league goals in a single season for the third consecutive campaign, with a further five goals to his name in other competitions.
He also has three hat-tricks in all competitions this term, including in the most recent win over Stoke last weekend, an incredible run of form that has seen him score six goals in his last two outings.
Kane and Tottenham will be looking to continue the record when they face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
In other Tottenham news, Danny Rose has admitted he forced this injured star to have three stitches.
