Mauricio Pochettino: This Tottenham player is like a horse

Mauricio Pochettino has stated that Tottenham ace Harry Kane is “like a horse” when describing the player’s desperation to get onto the field and play.
The England international is currently in the treatment room after he injured his ankle during the 6-0 FA Cup win against Millwall last Sunday.
Kane was forced off injured within ten minutes and he is now set to miss a number of crucial Premier League fixtures for his side.
Pochettino will welcome Claude Puel’s Southampton to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon and they will be looking to become the first team to defeat the London club on home soil this term.
Prior to that match, Pochettino revealed what Kane is like and why he had to remind him that the game against the Saints will be on Sunday.

“He wants to play today,” said Pochettino, as quoted by the Express. “I had to tell him we don’t play today, the game is on Sunday. He’s like a horse!”
Kane’s ability to consistently find the back of the net, cause problems to the opposition defence by draining them with his sheer work rate, has rubbed off on his team.
They sit in second place in the Premier League table and are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup where they will take on London rivals Chelsea.
The game against Antonio Conte’s side will take place on April 22 at Wembley and Pochettino will be hoping Kane will be fit and available for that match.
The duo have already met on two occasions this season, with the Blues securing one win and Spurs winning the reverse encounter on January 4.
