McAvennie slams Ajeti as he 'lashes out' after Celtic bust-up
Frank McAvennie has told Celtic star Albian Ajeti to quit his public bust-up with club legend Ramon Vega.
The former Hoops hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider reacted to the latest “lash out” from the outspoken striker.
Ajeti, 24, was called up by Switzerland for this month’s international games, prompting a reaction from Ramon.
Vega was not happy with the decision of Switzerland boss Murat Yakin, telling The Scottish Sun (October 3), “I don’t know what he stands for as a striker.”
Ajeti has hit out at Ramon telling Swiss outlet Blick (October 5): “Ramon Vega? Who is that?”
He went on to say he has “no interest” in what the former Hoop has to say.

McAvennie wasn’t impressed with the comments and told the duo to end their war of words.
“I don’t like to hear that,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“You can criticise players but you have to do it in the right way. You can’t just lash out like that.
“Ajeti will score goals at Celtic and he might get a couple during the international break.
“He’s earned his place in the team because he’s been scoring goals for us.
“You can’t take that away from him. To see the two of them arguing in the press, I don’t like it.
“We need to move on and talk about football.”
Ramon made 26 appearances while on loan at Celtic in the 00-01 season.
He picked up three medals as the Hoops won the treble.
