McAvennie tips 'brilliant' Celtic player to run riot against Rangers
Frank McAvennie has tipped Celtic attacker Liel Abada to run riot against Rangers this weekend.
The Parkhead icon, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted he has been left impressed with the new signing.
His impressive form has continued into the league season with the attacker scoring four times in seven games.
Two of those came in the Hoops’ last league game against St Mirren.
Celtic have been scoring for fun in recent games, netting 20 times in their last five.

McAvennie has been blown away by Adaba’s impact and claims he could get the better of James Tavernier on Sunday.
“The boy up in attack, Abada, he’s brilliant,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He will cause problems for any team and I think he will really get at that Rangers defence.
“From what I’ve seen of him, put him up against anyone and he’ll be loving it. He’ll have Tavernier beat.
“The boy looks like he’s been here for years, I’m delighted with him.
“He’s scoring for fun but he’s maybe been overshadowed by Kyogo after his good start as well.
“If he plays against Rangers, which he should, he could run riot.”
Celtic travel to Ibrox on Sunday looking to establish an early lead in the table over their city rivals.
The Hoops failed to win an Old Firm clash last season.
