Medical today: 24-yr-old set to sign for club on free after training at Spurs - Sources

Tottenham academy product Nathan Oduwa is undergoing a medical at Irish side Dundalk and in line to complete a free transfer later today, Football Insider has learned.

The winger, 24, is putting the finishing touches to a move to the League of Ireland big guns after quitting Israeli side Hapoel Hadera.

An Irish source has told Football Insider that Oduwa was granted permission to train at former club Tottenham last week before heading across the Irish sea.

This comes after Football Insider exclusively revealed yesterday that Oduwa was in advanced talks to sign for Dundalk.

He has been offered a one-year contract and is in line for a longer term deal if he makes a big impression at the League of Ireland champions.

It is the latest move in what has been a nomadic career for the former England Under-20 international.

Since leaving Spurs in February 2017, Oduwa has had stints in Slovenia and Denmark before moving to Israel in January of last year.

He also had spells on loan at Rangers, Luton Town, Colchester United and Peterborough United while at White Hart Lane.

The attacker never played for the north Londoners at senior level but was a regular while on loan at Rangers in 2015-16 when Mark Warburton was manager.

He initially made a big impact when the Glasgow giants were in the Scottish second tier but the deal was cut short at the midway point for him to return to Spurs.

In other Tottenham news, it can be REVEALED that the club are lining up a central midfielder offer amid big Tanguy Ndombele doubts.
