Medical Underway: Wilson agrees to join Fulham after Liverpool accept bid - Sources

Harry Wilson is undergoing a Fulham medical today (Saturday, July 24th) as he completes a permanent move from Liverpool, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Merseyside giants have accepted a bid from the Championship outfit for the Wales international.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider the Cottagers are set to pay between £10-12million for the 24-year-old.

Wilson is now undergoing the necessary medical tests before putting pen to paper on his new contract at Craven Cottage.

The Liverpool youth graduate still had two years left on his terms at Anfield.

However, as revealed by this site back in June, Jurgen Klopp decided to let him leave permanently this summer.

Portuguese giants Benfica were among the attacker’s suitors after a series of loan spells away from Anfield.

Meanwhile, Premier League new boys Brentford made an approach for his signing earlier this month.

It is understood Liverpool were looking for a fee of around £15million for his sale.

However, Fulham have agreed a fee of between £10-12 million with the Reds.

The Cottagers are preparing for a season back in the Championship and targeted Wilson as a proven attacker in the division.

Wilson spent last season on loan at Cardiff City.

He scored seven times and contributed 12 assists in his 37 second-tier appearances.

The winger has played a total of 90 times in the Championship, with 29 goals and 19 assists under his belt.

Fulham are yet to bring any new players through the door ahead of the new season.

Attackers Josh Maja and Ademola Lookman have both left Craven Cottage after their loan spells came to an end.
