Karamoko Dembele has agreed to a new contract – and Celtic fans are delighted with the news.
A statement on the Hoops’ official website confirmed that the highly-rated teenager has signed a Scottish FA Youth Registration at Parkhead on Friday.
The deal is the same as what current first-team full-back Kieran Tierney signed during the early days of his blossoming career.
Dembele has not long burst on to the scene thanks to his dazzling displays in youth football and is currently at the centre of a tug-of-war between England and Scotland, who both want him to choose their nation to play for in the future.
The 14-year-old emerging talent was born in London but has grown up north of the border and has three caps for the Scottish Under-16 side.
Celtic fans are undoubtedly delighted that he has committed to the Scottish treble winners – with one saying he is like the Bhoys’ future version of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
Here is a selection of the supporters’ tweets:
We could see two Dembeles in the same team both are so young.

Celtic have a large number of highly-rated teenagers currently making their way through the ranks and they will surely be hoping to emulate Kieran Tierney’s recent first team success.
The left-back has been a pivotal part of Brendan Rodgers’ squad as they went unbeaten in domestic competition on the way to winning the treble.
