Mills amazed by 'great lad' Hart after surprise Celtic reveal
Joe Hart is a “fantastic” goalkeeper and is producing his best form at Celtic because he feels loved by the club.
That is the view of ex-England and Premier League defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Hart put in another solid display in today’s 2-1 win over Aberdeen.
Hart moved to Parkhead over the summer from Tottenham after falling down the pecking order in north London.
The ex-England star has been an ever-present for the Glasgow giants and has kept six clean sheets in 15 games across all competitions.
According to WhosScored, Hart completed 72 per cent of his passes in Sunday’s win at Pittodrie.
That puts him in the top five passers in the league this season with his completion rate bow at 89.5 per cent.

“Players are ego-based,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“They need to be loved, they need to be made to feel special, they need to feel wanted. It’s just like any employee but it’s magnified in football almost more than any other business.
“If you go somewhere and feel appreciated, feel wanted, you perform. You enjoy training and try that little bit harder.
“All these things culminate in getting better performances. That’s what it comes down to.
“I’m not surprised, to be honest, I’ve always said Joe is a fantastic goalkeeper, he’s a great lad.
“He’s had his critics and made his mistakes in the past, but who hasn’t?
“Equally, he’s a top lad, top worker, top goalkeeper. He’s now in a place where he feels happy. People are starting to see why, once upon a time, he was England’s number one.”
