Mills: Leeds fans should be 'excited' after what I've just seen from Summerville
Danny Mills has admitted he is excited about the potential of Crysencio Summerville after watching him in person for Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender delivered his verdict after attending Leeds’ clash with Fulham, when Summerville made his full debut.
It was the 19-year-old’s second appearance after he replaced Raphinha from the bench against Newcastle United in the Premier League last week.
He played 75 minutes at Craven Cottage before Leeds progressed to the last 16 with a penalty shoot-out victory.
Summerville could be in line to make his maiden Premier League start against West Ham this weekend.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa revealed both Raphinha and Jack Harrison are not guaranteed to return for the game.

Harrison missed the Newcastle game as he was self-isolating with covid while Raphinha was substituted with an injury.
Asked for his assessment of the start of Summerville’s Leeds career, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I think he has done very, very well.
“He did very well against Fulham. I like the fact he wants to get on the ball, he’s exciting.
“That needs a little bit of enhancing, I would say. There needs to be more of an end product.
“But without a doubt, he’s got a lot of pace, a lot of energy and he wants to make things happen. That’s exciting for fans and for his teammates.
“He just needs a bit more experience in those situations.”
Summerville moved to Elland Road from Eredivise side Feyenoord last summer.
He has significant senior experience after spending the 2019-20 campaign on loan with ADO Den Haag where he played under Alan Pardew.
