Mohamed Salah will be thrilled by behind-the-scenes Liverpool report after what 'I've heard' - pundit
Alan Hutton has insisted Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah will be thrilled with the prospective return of former Liverpool physio Christopher Rohrbeck after their respective injury blows.
The former Scotland international, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims players are happiest when working with medical staff they know and trust.
The Athletic claim (17 May) Rohrbeck is to return to Anfield two years after leaving in a move accelerated by Fabinho’s injury setback.
The German physio is reportedly very popular in the Anfield dressing room.
The Athletic claim he worked especially closely with Salah and Van Dijk.
As confirmed by Jurgen Klopp, the star duo are currently nursing injuries suffered in the FA Cup final.

Hutton stated the pair would be delighted to have someone they trust implicitly return to the club during their recovery process.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “What I’ve heard before is players like certain physios. That happens at every single club.
“When a player gets an injury, they always go to the same people. If this is a guy who has worked with these players in the past, got them back to fitness quick and they like him, they’ll be happy.
“I’ve seen players go to clubs and they have their own physio because that person helps them the most.
“That’s on them, whatever gets you right and 100 per cent in the quickest time, no problem. Clubs are quite happy to go along with that.
“I totally understand the decision. If these guys have got back from injuries previously under these physios, no problem.”
Klopp expects both Salah and Van Dijk to be available for the Wolves game on Sunday.
However, he admitted they may only make the substitutes’ bench.
