Mohammed Kudus to Saudi latest: New West Ham price revealed
West Ham star Mohammed Kudus is high on the wanted list for Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The 24-year-old has been lined up as a backup option to Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma – who is the top choice for Cristiano Ronaldo’s club in the Middle East.
Al Nassr saw bids rejected for Mitoma, 27, in January but are ready to return with a new move this summer.
The Saudi Pro League side are aware Brighton could drive a hard bargain and also have Kudus on their list of definitive targets.
Al Nassr line up Kudus as Mitoma alternative
It has been widely reported that Saudi sides will have to pay a £120million release clause to West Ham in order to prise him away from the London Stadium.
That price tag drops for Premier League sides, who would have to pay just £85million.
Kudus is a key man for West Ham but has struggled in a challenging season for the Irons – which saw them sack Julen Lopetegui and appoint Graham Potter in January.

He has managed just three goals and three assists in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
Kudus, who is under contract with West Ham until June 2028, joined from Ajax for a fee of around £38million including add-ons.
The 42-cap Ghana international, who will not play at the Africa Cup of Nations later this year, has scored 11 goals in 60 appearances in the Premier League.

Potter demands big West Ham backing
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (14 April) that Potter wants to be backed heavily in the transfer market this summer after his disappointing start to life at West Ham.
The ex-Chelsea boss, who signed a contract with the Irons running until June 2027, will get time to turn results around in the new campaign before his future is questioned.
West Ham sit 17th in the Premier League table after collapsing to draw 1-1 at home against already-relegated Southampton on Saturday (19 April).
