Tottenham are continuing to monitor the position of Morgan Gibbs-White at Nottingham Forest as their interest in a transfer deal remains strong.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that Ange Postecoglou is planning a reshuffle in midfield, with Gibbs-White, 24, one of multiple names on their shortlist of targets.

Sources say that Tottenham are preparing for a busy summer, with the boss demanding improvements to his squad in the transfer market.

Gibbs-White joined Forest in a £42.5million deal from Wolves in 2022 following the club's promotion to the Premier League.

Since arriving at the City Ground, he has made 80 appearances, scored 11 goals and provided 18 assists, helping them cement their place in the top division.

Last season was the most impressive of his time at the club, scoring six goals and providing ten assists in 42 games, attracting high-profile interest from Tottenham alongside rival clubs.

With his club fighting relegation and narrowly surviving last time out, Gibbs-White is believed to be keen on taking a step up, particularly after missing out on this summer's England squad.

Forest, meanwhile, are under pressure to sell players this month to balance the books in fear of further breaches of profit and sustainability rules.

The four-point deduction delivered last season for their first breach led to a serious threat of relegation, with Evangelos Marinakis desperate to avoid a similar fate next season.

Gibbs-White has previously been described to Football Insider as the club's "most sellable asset", with the likes of Murillo, Taiwo Awoniyi and Anthony Elanga also linked with exits.
