Morgan Rogers is being eyed by Bayern Munich ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

The Bundesliga outfit have a “concrete” interest in the Aston Villa winger, 23, as they lay the groundwork for more marquee captures.

Rogers is open to a move to Bayern, and could even prefer a transfer to the Bundesliga giants ahead of joining an elite Premier League outfit as the likelihood grows that he will leave Villa Park this summer.

This is despite the attacker being contracted to the Birmingham outfit until 2031 after signing a new deal in November 2025.

So far this season, Rogers has netted 11 goals and picked up nine assists in all competitions, and any sale would be a huge blow for Aston Villa this summer.

Can Morgan Rogers be a success in the Bundesliga?

In the past, many England internationals have gone abroad only to struggle in Europe’s other top five leagues.

However, nothing suggests that Rogers would follow this route if he were to move to Bayern Munich in the summer.

The 23-year-old has some of the most impressive stats in the Premier League this season.

Per 90 minutes, he is averaging 0.25 goals, a 0.19 xG, 2.35 shots, 0.16 assists and 0.32 big chances created, according to Fotmob on 18 April.

Given players such as Michael Olise have also been hits for Bayern after leaving the Premier League, it is very likely that Rogers will follow the same path and be a star in the Bundesliga.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if the German giants can win the race for the attacker, who has attracted plenty of interest from other clubs over the past few months.

How much are Aston Villa set to demand for Rogers?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Aston Villa want £100million to part with Rogers this summer.

This comes amid interest from both Man United and Chelsea for the England international.

Clubs are unlikely to be deterred by this lofty asking price after Rogers has impressed in yet another campaign.

Should the 23-year-old establish himself as part of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad and go on to impress at the World Cup, clubs are expected to step up their interest.

Therefore, it remains to be seen if Unai Emery can keep hold of Rogers for Aston Villa’s 2026-27 campaign.
