Leeds United fans are tearing their hair out at the performances of Eunan O’Kane and want him to be sold this summer.

The central midfielder was surprisingly given the nod to start ahead of Adam Forshaw in Friday night’s defeat at Middlesbrough but United were 3-0 down after 68 minutes and the Irishman was then replaced by striker Caleb Ekuban.

Former Bournemouth player O’Kane, 27, has been a mainstay of the team this season, starting 23 of their 35 league fixtures.

But there has been increasing criticism of him from supporters who believe he lacks the composure on the ball and ability to dictate a game to make him a midfield lynchpin.

The Leeds faithful have been particularly vocal on social media about O’Kane not being up to standard in recent months.
