'Sad day', 'I'm praying' - Newcastle fans distraught as club post ominous update
Newcastle United fans have been left distraught on social media after the club posted an ominous update on the future of star winger Kenedy.
The Brazilian speed machine has established himself as a firm favourite on Tyneside with his impressive displays, having signed on a season-long loan from Chelsea back in the January transfer window.
His performances on the wing have left the Toon Army clambering for his permanent signature, but the club appear to be playing it safe when discussing his future.
With four games left to play of the season, Saturday’s home tie against West Brom could well be the last time he features for the Magpies at St James’ Park, being ineligible for the final game of the season when parent club Chelsea visit Tyneside.
To honour the occasion, the club have featured him as the star of their program for the visit of the Baggies, as revealed on their official Twitter account, but the update about his future left the Newcastle faithful seriously concerned.
