Newcastle fans react to Islam Slimani performance in late cameo v Huddersfield
Newcastle United fans have been left impressed by Islam Slimani after he made his debut for the club in a late cameo against Huddersfield on Saturday.
The Magpies have all but confirmed their status in the Premier League for next season after Ayoze Perez's 80th minute goal secured a brilliant 1-0 win at St James' Park.
Rafa Benitez's men are now 12th in the standings and seven points clear of the bottom three with seven games to play.
Slimani's debut for Newcastle was a nice little extra boost for the Toon Army, who were left thoroughly impressed by the January loan signing despite him only spending 15 minutes on the pitch.

Slimani has been at St James' Park since January 31 but injury has meant that he has been unable to make his debut until now.
The Algeria international will now surely look to revive his career on Tyneside after struggling to get regular football at parent club Leicester, where he had made just two Premier League starts this term before leaving.
Slimani will have to wait another two weeks for his next appearance though as he will be ineligible to play against the Foxes next week.
