Newcastle fans were less than happy to see that striker Aleksandar Mitrovic had been dropped from the starting eleven for their match against Ipswich Town.
The Serbian forward, who joined Newcastle in the summer of 2015, was impressive in his performance in the club’s 1-1 home draw with Leeds United.
He was credited for his hold-up play, and was widely regarded as one of the best players on the pitch, even though he didn’t get on the score sheet.
As such, many expected the 22-year-old to lead the line yet again as Newcastle make the journey down to Portman Road to take on Ipswich Town.
However, Mitrovic finds himself on the bench as Rafa Benitez makes five changes to his side, opting instead for former Ipswich man Daryl Murphy up front.
And Newcastle fans let their feelings be known on Twitter, as the Magpies look to take another step closer to automatic promotion.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Aye. I'm far from a fan of Mitrovic but had his best game in forever on Friday. Seems harsh

Harsh to drop Mitrovic after his performance against Leeds. Swapping Mbemba for Hanley could work though. Happy with Diame's return. #nufc

Gutted mitro is dropped, thought he was exceptional on Friday. Would have thought it would be lascelles making way not mbemba #nufc

How on earth has mitro been dropped ??

I'm not the biggest mitro fan but he can't be expected to build up any decent form if he's never given a run. Harsh on the lad

The Toon Army will be hoping former Tractor Boy Daryl Murphy can help secure them the win and the three points to inch them ever closer to a Premier League return.
In other Newcastle news, Mick McCarthy had some kind words for this Newcastle man.
