Newcastle told to 'break the bank' on signing Bryan Mbeumo after update

Newcastle United supporters have urged the club to “break the bank” to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo.

According to The Telegraph, the Magpies are keen on signing the 25-year-old in the January transfer window to bolster their attacking options.

However, the Premier League giants would have to sell someone to make the deal happen due to spending restrictions.

Howe’s side aren’t the only club targeting Mbeumo at the moment though as Football Insider revealed Arsenal are also considering him due to their squad being stretched by injuries.

The winger has scored eight goals from the opening nine Premier League fixtures this season and is gaining plenty of admirers with his performances for the Bees.

Newcastle have been hoping to strengthen their wide options since the last transfer window, and Football Insider revealed that Barcelona’s Raphinha is another option being considered.
