Newcastle United are confident of agreeing deals to sign both Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly by the end of June, sources have told Football Insider

The English centre-back duo are each set to leave Fulham and Bournemouth on a free once their contracts expire at the end of next month.

Sources say the deals are currently progressing well and are at an advanced stage, with both players keen to join the Tyneside club this summer.

The club are also in pole position to reach an agreement for Kelly, with a “big-money” four-year deal on the table for him to make the switch to St James’ Park in the coming weeks.

Newcastle could sign both Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly

The central defensive pair would provide decent Premier League experience to the Newcastle side and add to their quota of homegrown, British players.

Despite spending a couple of spells on the sidelines, Kelly has caught the eye in his 25 appearances for Bournemouth this season and offers versatility with his ability to play at left-back.

Football Insider previously revealed the England youth international has turned down multiple contract offers to remain at the Vitality Stadium beyond this campaign

Kelly and Adarabioyo could now make the move to Newcastle as Howe looks to strengthen his defensive options.

The Magpies recorded a seventh-place finish, with Europa Conference League football on the cards next season if Manchester United fail to beat Manchester City in the upcoming FA Cup final.

Adarabioyo made 25 appearances for Fulham in all competitions across the campaign, but he didn’t feature in any of their final four games after rejecting contract offers to remain at Craven Cottage.
