Newcastle United tipped to accept 'crazy' Allan Saint-Maximin offer after £50m update - pundit
Newcastle United would accept a £50million bid for Allan Saint-Maximin this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Frenchman’s future.
However, speaking in his pre-Wolves press conference (7 April) Eddie Howe insisted the 25-year-old remains part of his long-term plans.
The winger is under contract on Tyneside until the summer of 2026.
However, Kenny claims Newcastle would accept a bid of £50million or more this summer.

“£50million, that’s crazy money,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“For a man who has scored five goals this season? For an attacking player, it’s not good numbers.
“I know Newcastle don’t need to £50million but if that offer was on the table, they would take it.
“You can invest that in a player who will provide more goals and assists.
“I would be surprised if Newcastle didn’t accept an offer like that.
“There are quality players out there who you could get for £50million who will get you more goals than that.
“I know he’s good to watch but you need results in this business and that is a lot of money to turn down.”
Saint-Maximin has scored five goals and provided three assists this season.
He has featured 27 times for the Magpies in the Premier League.
