Matias Fernandez-Pardo made his debut on Saturday as Newcastle United drew 2-2 with Bournemouth at St James' Park.
The Cherries had gained a two-goal lead in the opening 35 minutes, with Marcus Tavernier finding the advantage before Malick Thiaw's own-goal doubled it.
Harvey Barnes struck an instant response for the Magpies, before Jacob Ramsey's late equaliser saw the scores end level.
Fernandez-Pardo signed for Newcastle on transfer deadline day after a £51million move was agreed with Lille for the forward.
The 21-year-old can play across the front line and is seen as a significant addition to Matthias Jaissle's squad after a tumultuous summer.
The Belgian came on for debut on Saturday, with Newcastle fans treated to the first sights of what their new man will bring.

Fernandez-Pardo exploded onto the scene last season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 41 games across all competitions.
The Belgium international had been with Lille for much of his youth career, leaving for Gent before returning in 2024.
But he made it clear that he was keen on an exit this summer, and got his wish when Newcastle met the French side's £51m price tag.
Capable of playing across the front line and behind the striker, Fernandez-Pardo came on for Joe Willock after the break and was situated behind and alongside Yoane Wissa for his debut.
With 27 minutes in front of the home faithful, the 21-year-old completed a successful dribble and took two touches in the opposition box.
He also made a recovery, won two duels and won a free-kick, with his energy clear for all to see.

Along with Bazoumana Toure, Anthony Elanga and Will Osula, it is hoped that Fernandez-Pardo can bring forward a new young exciting forward line for Newcastle.
The Belgian is keen to prove himself in the Premier League this season and already looks to have already made an impression on many fans in his opening minutes.
With Millwall in the Carabao Cup to come next week, Newcastle fans can almost certainly expect to see more of their new £51m man.
"A lot of quality. It's the reason why we have signed him. He is still young but got a lot of potential," said Jaissle when asked about Fernandez-Pardo after his debut.
"We need to be careful to manage him well because of the load. He hasn't played for 90 minutes for a long, long time. The whole club and fans can enjoy what we can expect from him in the future."
