Scotland fans are calling for Steve Clarke to be sacked after he named Rangers star Connor Barron in his most recent squad selection.

Barron moved to Ibrox in the summer transfer window after his contract with Aberdeen expired and has impressed supporters with his early performances.

However, rival fans are insisting he has not done enough to warrant a place in the national setup and are questioning the manager's decision.

They are insisting the midfielder has done no more since moving to Philippe Clement's side than he did at Aberdeen when he was constantly overlooked.

Clarke had come under pressure following a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign, while there have been calls for his head since before the summer.

Now, it is rival supporters accusing him of bias towards the Old Firm sides, insisting Barron is only in the squad because he plays for Rangers.

The Scotland boss has often been accused of bias and favouritism on all sides, and may often feel damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

Barron's first call-up has come after impressive performances during what has been a disappointing start to the season for Rangers.

Now, supporters are calling for his head once again as they have been left disappointed by his latest selection, flooding to social media to express their frustrations.
