The majority of Wolves supporters are not impressed with reports that the club is considering re-signing Bakary Sako in the summer.

Paul Lambert was reported by the Express & Star to be looking to bring the Crystal Palace flop back to Molineux on a loan deal when the transfer window opens at the end of the season.

The Black Country club attempted to sign Sako on a temporary deal in January but his duties at the African Cup of Nations for Mali and willingness to fight for his place at Selhurst Park meant that the deal was a no-go.

The 28-year-old has seriously struggled for game time with the Premier League club during this campaign and has only taken part in 127 minutes of action in all competitions.

He came off the bench in the closing stages of their 1-0 win over Watford on Saturday in what was just his sixth appearance of a campaign plagued by injury and international call-ups.

Sako made 124 appearances in his time in the gold and black and helped the side lift the 2013/14 League One title.

The Malian winger impressed in the following season as Wolves almost secured back-to-back promotions and he was released at the end of his contract as he wished to pursue top-flight football.

However his Premier League dream backfired and since his 2015 switch to Selhurst Park, Sako has made just 29 appearances and has only found the back of the net twice.

However, while most fans are not interested in welcoming the player back, others think he would be a perfect replacement for Helder Costa, should he quit Molineux to follow his dream of top-tier football.
