'Nonsense' - Sutton hits out at manager comments after Tottenham beat Man United
By Amir Mir
Chris Sutton has hit out at Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for his “nonsense” post-match comments after Tottenham beat Manchester United 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs were deserved winners in their final match at White Hart Lane as Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane were the goalscorers.
After the match, Mourinho stated that he was “happy” with his team’s performance considering what they had in terms of individual players.
When referring to the Europa League, Mourinho also stated that his team cannot play “two big competitions” with “15 players”.
Former Premier League winner, Sutton clearly wasn’t pleased with Mourinho’s comments as he slated the club’s senior man.

United are hoping to join Tottenham in next season’s Champions League, as they only have one opportunity to do so.
They have missed the chance to finish in the top four after that defeat at the Lane but they still have to play the Europa League final to contest.
Mourinho’s team will take on Dutch giants Ajax in the final, with the winner of that competition commencing straight into next season’s Champions League.
At this moment in time, only Chelsea and Tottenham have secured their places in next season’s Champion League from the English Premier League, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal fighting for the last two places.
Two matches of the season remain, with United playing Southampton and then Crystal Palace on the final day of the season at Old Trafford.
By contrast, Spurs will travel to Leicester City next Thursday before taking on already-relegated Hull away from home.
In other Tottenham news, ex-cricketer Michael Vaughan has ripped into Spurs and stated what is shambolic.
