Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter slam Gary Brazil and call for change

By Danny Wright

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to announce that they want Gary Brazil to be relieved of his duties as interim manager.

Following a 1-0 loss to East Midlands rivals Burton Albion on Saturday, Forest want the 54-year-old to hand over the reins to a manager that can steer the club away from the bottom three.

The Reds slipped to 19th in the Championship standings and now sit just two points clear of the relegation zone following the loss at the Pirelli Stadium.

Brazil has been in charge ever since Philippe Montanier was sacked by club owner Fawaz Al Hasawi in January.

The former Fulham and Newcastle attacker was placed in caretaker charge of the club and after an impressive start, winning three of his first four games, it was announced that Brazil would be made interim manager until the end of the season.

Now though, the club have began a descent back towards the drop zone after an inconsistent spell of form which has seen them lose to the likes of Burton and Brentford despite smashing promotion candidates Brighton 3-0 last Saturday.

Fans now fear the worst and want Al Hasawi to take drastic action, although fans were calling for him to exit the club too.

Here is a selection of tweets from Forest fans about Brazil:
