Nuno could 'make absolute mockery' of Tottenham by axing Kane against Arsenal - Robinson
Paul Robinson has ridiculed suggestions Harry Kane should be dropped from the Tottenham starting XI for the north London derby.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number claimed axing the 28-year-old “would make a mockery of the decision not to sell him” in the summer.
Spurs turned down bids of up to £128million from Manchester City for Kane in the previous transfer window.
England captain’s was hell-bent on leaving Spurs before assuring fans of his commitment when a move failed to materialise.
As revealed by Whoscored (September 20th), Liverpool defender Joel Matip (11) has had more touches in the opposition penalty box than Kane (10) in the league this season.
Kane has scored three goals in three cup appearances this term but is yet to score in the Premier League.

Robinson insisted Nuno Espirito Santo must continue playing his star striker despite his dip in form.
“It comes into question now whether they should have sold him but at the end of the day they didn’t,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.
“There is going to be talk about him all season because you can see that he doesn’t want to be there.
“I heard people saying after the Chelsea game that he should be left out of the team.
“Of course he shouldn’t. It would make an absolute mockery out of the decision not to sell him for £120million a few weeks ago.
“It’s ridiculous to even suggest so, he has to play. He isn’t the type of player or person who will down tools. He’s their best player.”
