Rangers have been installed as the overwhelming favourites to sign Valencia winger Nani this summer, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
Bet Victor have priced the Glasgow giants at 3/1 to land the former Manchester United attacker before the transfer window cut-off.
Rangers are ahead in the betting of French trio Monaco, Nice and Marseille, as well as bitter rivals Celtic, who are all 8/1 to secure the signature of the 30-year-old.
The odds on Rangers prising Nani from Valencia have shortened from 6/1 at the end of June, when they were level with Celtic in the betting.
Nani is remembered among British audiences for his eight-year spell at Manchester United, where he lifted four Premier League titles, one Champions League and two League Cups.
The jet-heeled wide man only made the switch to the La Liga side from Fenerbahce last summer in a £7.2million deal.
He scored five goals and supplied eight assists from 26 matches in all competitions as Valencia finished 12th in the league.
The 112-times international also played a key role as Portugal lifted the European Championships against the odds last summer.
Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has already signed four players of Portuguese nationality this summer, including centre-back Bruno Alves.
In other Rangers news, the club are eyeing a swoop for a top-flight duo and have already tabled one major bid.
