Scott Parker’s odds of becoming the next manager to leave in the Premier League have been dramatically reduced amid high pressure on the Burnley manager.

Recent weeks have seen fans turn against the 45-year-old, with the Clarets almost certain to be in the Championship next season.

As a result, his long-term future at Turf Moor has appeared uncertain, with the manager set to take the club down without a fight.

Now, the bookies are increasingly confident that his reign will soon come to an end, with Parker having 6/4 odds to leave next in the Premier League.

Only on Thursday, Parker had 3/1 odds to be sacked next, in what is a sudden development.

Scott Parker’s Premier League record explained

Despite becoming somewhat of a Championship specialist, upon hitting the Premier League, Parker has become incapable of picking up results.

Overall, he has claimed just 13 victories in 81 attempts in the English top-flight, with only four of these coming at Burnley this campaign.

As a result, he is averaging a points per game average of 0.73 across his Premier League management career, well below the total needed to stay in the division.

However, it remains to be seen if Burnley chooses to sack the manager, with his Championship record being extremely impressive, as he averages 1.95 points a game.

Therefore, if the Clarets want to bounce back into the Premier League immediately, sticking by Parker may be their best bet.

Who is the favourite to be sacked next in the Premier League?

Currently, the favourite to leave next in the Premier League is Oliver Glasner at 4/5.

The Crystal Palace manager is already set to leave the club at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen if this will be the next managerial departure.

Fabian Hurzeler and Arne Slot are both at 8/1 thanks to Brighton’s and Liverpool’s hit-and-miss form.

Both managers are under increasing levels of scrutiny, with the clubs on track to miss out on their targets.

A potential outsider to depart next is Marco Silva at 25/1. Despite a solid showing at Fulham this season, the manager’s contract situation is yet to be resolved, with his deal set to expire in the summer.
