Aston Villa will find out tomorrow (Thursday) if they have won the race to sign Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, according to a reliable journalist.
Independent correspondent Jack Pitt-Brooke claimed on his personal Twitter account tonight that the Midlands giants are in the mix to land the exciting 20-year-old on a season-long loan.
In loan news: expecting a decision from Sheyi Ojo tomorrow. Derby and Fulham now favourites. Boro, Villa and Birmingham also in the mix…

Championship sides Villa, Derby, Middlesbrough and Fulham, who all have strong promotion ambitions this season, are also in the running to sign Ojo.
Pitt-Brooke reported that Derby ad Fulham are in the box seat but the winger’s final destination will rest on what the player wants.
A versatile forward able to play on either flank, Ojo has 13 appearances under his belt for the Premier League giants, two of which came in FA Cup ties last season.
It would be his third spell out on loan from Anfield, after stints at Wigan and Wolves.
If he were to choose Aston Villa, he would become their sixth signing of the summer, as manager Steve Bruce looks to build a squad capable of securing a place back in the top flight.
Football Insider verdict
Ojo has a difficult choice to make, with all five sides looking likely of mounting a promotion challenge next season. Villa are ambitious but are constrained by financial fair play regulations after their big spending resulted in a wretched 13th-place finish in 2016-17. They have brought in Premier League experience in the shape of John Terry, Glenn Whelan, Ahmed Elmohamady and Chris Samba, but there is no certainty that they will be able to push for the top spots next season. What Ojo and Jurgen Klopp need to consider is, where he will be a regular in the starting XI to secure the game time required to develop into the player everyone at Liverpool hopes and expects.
