O'Kane makes claim about Leeds draw v Fulham, delivers verdict on home crowd
By Danny Wright
Eunan O’Kane has claimed that Leeds were the “better team” after 20 minutes’ worth of action in their 0-0 draw with Fulham on Tuesday night.
On what was a frustrating night for both sides, no one managed to find a breakthrough as the Whites succumbed to yet another 90 minutes without finding the net.
Thomas Christiansen’s side have now drawn their last two fixtures 0-0, but the stalemate with Fulham could perhaps be seen as a good point as the Londoners are one of the main contenders for promotion this season.
However O’Kane, 27, has confessed that he felt the game could have been won by his side, but has still hailed the home crowd at Elland Road for the atmosphere they generated.
“I felt after the first 20mins we were the better team. Another clean sheet against a good team. The atmosphere was incredible again,” said the midfielder on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday night.

O’Kane has recently been handed a new four-year deal by Leeds after a series of impressive displays in the heart of the midfield.
He has played every minute of the first three Championship fixtures on the new campaign, keeping the likes of Ronaldo Vieira out of the side.
The former Bournemouth man has recently been called up to the Republic of Ireland international team to add further merit to his recent performances.
In other Leeds news, Christiansen has made a big admission about Wood after a series of bids for the striker.
