Massive boost for Celtic striker Dembele ahead of Bayern CL clash
By John Reid
Moussa Dembele’s recent run of good form has seen him called-up to the provisional French national squad and it could see him make his international debut.
The striker, who has scored four goals in the past couple of weeks, has impressed French national boss Didier Deschamps.
According to the Scottish Sun, Moussa may make his debut against either Wales or Germany.
He is a regular at French Under-21 level alongside his Celtic teammate Olivier Ntcham.
Dembele had a fabulous first season at Celtic last year, scoring 32 goals, until it was curtailed by injury – the highlight being his three goals in the Champions League group stages.

He was blighted by injury again at the start of this season, suffering a hamstring problem.
However, his goals and all round performances against Hibs and Aberdeen have impressed Deschamps.
Despite his return from injury, Moussa has been used quite sparingly by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
He didn’t complete the full ninety minutes against Aberdeen, and was a substitute against both HIbs and Kilmarnock.
Dembele will no doubt be boosted by the news however, as he gets set to lead the line against Bayern Munich at Celtic Park tomorrow night.
The final French squad will be announced on Thursday, giving Dembele the perfect chance to impress.
