By Danny Wright
Patrick Roberts has claimed that he is 100 per cent sure that Celtic would finish in the top six of the English Premiers League should they ever get they chance to move there.
It’s been an age-old debate about how Celtic and Rangers would get on if they were to ditch Scottish football and move south of the border to become a part of the English league pyramid.
The competitiveness and quality of the Scottish divisions are sneered upon by most of those in England with many pointing out how easily the Hoops manage to breeze to domestic honours every season.
Celtic have recently broken a 100-year-old British record for remaining unbeaten in domestic competition, something which has been rubbished by certain pundits and a lot of English football fans.

“It’s ifs and buts because Celtic aren’t there.
“But with the money down south, and the size of this club, we’d definitely be able to mix with the big boys.”
Roberts joined the Hoops for the second time on loan from Manchester City in the summer.
He has previously joined them on an 18-month deal in January 2016 which expired at the end of last term.
After developing himself into a real fan favourite at Parkhead, Brendan Rodgers set out once again to snap up the England youth international and he finally got his man on loan for another season.
In other Celtic news, this attacker has given the Bhoys a big injury boost.
