Former England international Paul Ince has shockingly predicted that Newcastle United will suffer relegation from the Premier League this season.
The Magpies have enjoyed a decent start to life in the top-flight and currently sit ninth in the standings ahead of their clash against Bournemouth this weekend.
However that hasn’t stopped BT pundit Ince from backing Rafa Benitez’s side to suffer their third ever relegation under the ownership of Mike Ashley come next May.
Although there a lot of teams that look way worse than the Magpies are this current stage, Ince reckons they will go back down into the Championship with Brighton and Crystal Palace.
His prediction was posted on the BT Sport Score official Twitter account on Friday.

Of the four pundits asked, Ince was the only one to say that Newcastle will finish in the drop zone with Huddersfield and Crystal Palace being among the favourites to go down.
Newcastle had an awful summer transfer window where they failed to make additions in the key areas that Benitez wanted to, mainly up front and in goal.
After losing their first two games, they have responded well since, winning against the likes of West Ham, Stoke and Crystal Palace.
In other Newcastle United news, Benitez has made a stunning claim about the future of this £40,000-a-week player.
