Pedraza sends defiant Twitter message to Leeds fans after Brentford loss
By Will Butcher
Alfonso Pedraza is desperate to bounce back on Saturday against Preston after Leeds suffered a second successive defeat to Brentford on Tuesday night.
Goals from Bees duo Lasse Vibe and Romaine Sawyers saw Dean Smith’s side secure a 2-0 win over Leeds at Griffin Park, as Leeds suffer a blip in their play-off chase.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, Spanish winger Pedraza is desperate to remain upbeat despite the loss, telling fans that he and his teammates must “stand up and continue fighting.”
Disappointed with yesterday's result. We have to stand up and continue fighting, next Saturday we have another battle ???? pic.twitter.com/Ie4eeWB0V8

On loan from La Liga outfit Villarreal, Pedraza was dropped to the bench against Brentford after failing to provide an impact against Reading on Saturday during the 1-0 loss.
He was replaced by Northern Ireland international Stuart Dallas, but was brought on as a substitute in the 59th minute for Dallas who went up against his former side.

The 20-year-old could be in line to return to the starting line-up ahead of Saturday’s clash against former manager Simon Grayson and his Preston side.
Monk will be hoping his side can forge a repeat of the 4-1 triumph at Deepdale earlier in the season, that saw Kemar Roofe, Hadi Sacko, Pablo Hernandez and Souleymane Doukara score.
Since his move on deadline day in January, Pedraza has made a total of seven appearances for the Yorkshire giants as well as scoring in the 3-1 win over Birmingham City.
In other Leeds news, Monk has urged his side to do this against Preston following the loss to Brentford.
