Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised Tottenham’s style of play ahead of their clash at the weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel to the Etihad Stadium looking to inflict a second defeat of the season on their Premier League title rivals.
Spurs beat the Manchester club 2-0 during the reverse fixture which ended their 100% start to the campaign.
Now, they will take on Guardiola’s side away from home, looking to cause some damage on their rival’s title hopes.
City are currently ten points behind leaders Chelsea in the table and three points behind their weekend opponents, a defeat could seem them slip further away.
Ahead of the game, former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Guardiola was full of praise for Pochettino and his team as posted by City’s official Twitter account.

Guardiola’s side were beaten 4-0 at Everton during their last Premier League encounter, while Spurs recorded a comfortable win against West Brom by the same scoreline.
Both teams have won 13 games a piece this season, but the north London club have lost only two matches to City’s five.
Spurs are also better on the attacking front with 43 goals scored in 21 league games, while their rivals have scored two fewer.
Furthermore, Pochettino’s side hold the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 14 goals this campaign, but City have struggled shipping 26.
Leaders Chelsea take on relegation strugglers Hull on Sunday afternoon and their title rivals will be looking to close the gap on the London-based club prior to them playing.
