'Phenomenal' Sessegnon 'is asking' for Premier League transfer in January - Tottenham insider
Ryan Sessegnon could join a Premier League club on loan in January after struggling for game time at Tottenham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Sessegnon, 21, joined Tottenham in 2019 but has never been a regular starter at the club.
He spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim and scored two goals across 29 appearances.
Sessegnon earned a move to Spurs on the back of a stunning Championship campaign in which he scored 15 goals and picked up six assists in 41 outings.
However, the defender has only made three appearances this season and Wenham claims he could join another Premier League club this winter.

“What about Ryan Sessegnon?” Wenham told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He came with a very high pedigree, he looked phenomenal in the Championship with Fulham.
“We are now three seasons in with him and he’s regularly not making the squad. He also has a habit of picking up injuries.
“We paid £30million for him. He was started against Bayern Munich and scored a good goal but we haven’t seen anything else if I’m brutally honest.
“Sessegnon now looks to be the third choice left-back behind Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davis.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if he is asking about a loan move, Tottenham will not want to make a loss on him.
“Obviously he spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim but we need to see a lot more.
“He’s been nominated for the golden boy award so to see not much from him is disappointing.
“I think he will be loaned to a Premier League club in January, he needs that experience.”
