Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos has been pictured in Scotland after reportedly agreeing terms about a move to Rangers.

The Express claimed on it’s website in the early hours of Monday morning that the 20-year-old forward would be flying into Edinburgh for a medical after agreeing the terms of a three-year deal with the Ibrox giants.

Now, STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj has posted a picture of the young striker in Scotland via his personal Twitter account, courtesy of colleague Paul Barnes.

It was detailed in the Express report that only a medical and a work permit were in the way of Morelos being announced a Rangers player.

The striker has lit up the Finnish top-flight in it’s current season, which runs until October, scoring 12 times in 12 league games for HJK Helsinki as they sit at the top of the league.

It is believed that former Finland international and current assistant Jonatan Johansson recommended Morelos to Rangers and the club have now moved swiftly in a reported £1million deal.

The club’s supporters will be hoping the striker can find a similar strike rate in Scotland as they look to close the gap with Celtic in the next campaign alongside competing in the Europa League.

In other Rangers transfer news, this Gers forward is set to undergo a medical with an English club on Monday.
