Piers Morgan identifies one Arsenal player who deserves credit after win v Preston
By Harvey Byrne
Piers Morgan has singled out forward Olivier Giroud as the player deserving of credit after Arsenal’s win against Preston on Saturday.
The Gunners struggled against the Championship side at Deepdale with Simon Grayson’s team taking the lead in the first 10 minutes through a Callum Robinson strike.
However, the north London giants fought back in the second half with Aaron Ramsey equalising just after the half time whistle, while Giroud clinched the winning strike on the 89th minute.
This led to Celebrity Arsenal fan and regular social media user Morgan singling out the France international on his personal Twitter account for applause following his side’s victory.

He had previously found himself behind Alexis Sanchez in the striking pecking order at the club, but his recent scoring run may see him ahead of the Chilean once again.
Giroud’s strike has also seen Arsenal through to the fourth round of the FA Cup, a competition they have won twice in the last three years.
The Premier League now looks out of the north London side’s reach, but with the domestic cup as well as the Champions League they will still be keen to earn some silverware this season.
