Piers Morgan makes huge admission about Tottenham after win against Real Madrid
By Danny Wright
Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has admitted that he is jealous of Tottenham’s success against Real Madrid on Wednesday night, and has claimed that he would want to have Mauricio Pochettino to replace Arsene Wenger.
The Good Morning Britain presenter is one of the loudest online voices in the ‘Wenger Out’ campaign and although he regularly shows his animosity towards Spurs, he couldn’t find a negative word to say about them this week.
Spurs qualified from their Champions League group with a stunning 3-1 win against reigning champions Real Madrid with Dele Alli scoring a brace before Christian Eriksen rounded off the historic win.
Morgan, speaking on his personal Twitter account after the game, responded through gritted teeth to say just how good Spurs were against Zinedine Zidane’s Galacticos.
“Sadly, your lot were sensational,” he said in reply to a Spurs fan. “I wish we had your manager, most of your team and your style.”

Tottenham know that results against Borussia Dortmund and APOEL Nicosia in their final two group stage clashes won’t mean much in terms of qualification to the final 16, but there’s no doubt that Pochettino and his squad will want to finish top of their group and play a runner-up from another group in the next stage.
Next up for Spurs is a return to Premier League action against Crystal Palace at Wembley this weekend but they have recently been dealt with the news that goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris will miss the game.
In other Tottenham news, a Sky Sports pundit has issued his concerns about Spurs in their bid for a maiden Premier League title.
