Mauricio Pochettino has outlined to fans that he will improve his Tottenham side this summer in a massive transfer update, stating “you cannot stay happy with what you’re doing now”.
The north London club have had a successful season in the Premier League and are now set to finish in second place in the top-flight for the first time since 1963.
Many have hailed the Spurs side as one of the best in England and pundits and fans feel as though much of the starting eleven are at the top in their various positions.
However, boss Pochettino has detailed in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, as covered by Tottenham’s ESPN correspondent Dan Kilpatrick on his personal Twitter account that the club will not be resting on it’s laurels and that the team needs to improve.
Poch will strengthen squad in the summer. "Always in life you cannot stay happy with what you're doing now — you need to improve, improve."

Pochettino looked to improve his team last summer and Tottenham shelled out a huge £67million for Victor Wanyama, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Moussa Sissoko.

However, only Wanyama has played an integral role in Spurs’ successful season and the likes of Janssen and Sissoko have performed well below the expected standards.
Fans will now be hoping the club identifies better this time around as they look for a title win in their season at England’s iconic Wembley stadium.
