Poch raves about 'unbelievable' Tottenham star, stats put him ahead of Chelsea PL legend

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that Dele Alli’s goal-scoring statistics are ‘unbelievable’.
Alli scored a sublime 25-yard goal to break the deadlock for Spurs as they thrashed Watford 4-0 on Saturday.
Eric Dier then added a second, before Son Heung-min grabbed a brace to wrap up the win and a fine three points.
The goal, was Alli’s 16th Premier League goal of the season to add to his six assists in his 30 league games.
Overall this season the 20-year-old has 19 goals and 10 assists in his 42 league and cup appearances.

The England midfielder, who turns 21 on Tuesday, has now had a hand in 40 Premier League goals in total – that’s more than Premier League legends such as Chelsea’s Frank Lampard (15), Steven Gerrard (13) and David Beckham (12) had at the same stage in their careers.
In fact Alli has as many as all three of them combined.
Speaking in The Mirror, his boss Pochettino, said of the statistics: “Wow! It’s unbelievable.
“First of all a great kid. A lovely, person. And then he is a great player. He is so young he can improve a lot, he can learn a lot, his potential is massive.”
Tottenham’s 4-0 win meant they kept pace with Chelsea at the top of the league, although the gap is still seven points after the Blues’ 3-1 defeat of Bournemouth.
However their win does mean Pochettino and Alli are five points clear of Liverpool in third, with a game in hand, with a top-four spot all but confirmed.
In other Tottenham news, Jermaine Jenas has claimed this Spurs star has made a massive impact since Kane’s injury.
