Pochettino makes transfer request to Tottenham: Six players on his summer wishlist - report

Mauricio Pochettino wants Tottenham to sign proven Premier League players this summer, according to a report.
The Evening Standard claim the Spurs manager is privately urging the club’s new-look recruitment team to deliver him seasoned performers.
It is said the Argentine wants the club to prioritise the signing of players “who can hit the ground running in English football”, rather than players from overseas leagues who need a period of adjustment.
The Standard name six players who are on Pochettino’s summer wishlist, all of whom are currently at Premier League clubs.
Everton playmaker Ross Barkley, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, Leicester wide man Demarai Gray and Burnley striker Andre Gray are the attacking players targeted by the north Londoners.

Spurs scouts are also keeping close tabs on centre-back pair Michael Keane, of Burnley, and Harry Maguire, of Hull, after delivering performances that have impressed scouts.
Tottenham have shaken up their talent-spotting team in recent months after bringing in Steve Hitchens to head their recruitment operation.
Hitchens has replaced Paul Mitchell, the former head of recruitment who has been placed on gardening leave after handing in his lengthy notice last August.
Spurs have had great success from signing players who know English football well in recent seasons, most notably Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have sensationally terminated the contract of one of their defenders.
