Mauricio Pochettino is set to off-load Georges-Kevin N’Koudou this summer, according to a report.
The Mirror claim Tottenham have “run out of patience” with the 22-year-old after he has failed to impress and plan to move him on.
The Frechman only joined Spurs last summer from Marseille for £11million but he has not made the impact that was expected of him.
He has endured a nightmarish campaign and has not started a single Premier League game this season, making only eight substitute appearances.
The six-time France Under-21s international was a key man for Marseille last year, playing 41 league and cup games and scoring 10 goals, which prompted Pochettino to sign him, but he has failed to impress at White Hart Lane.
He is under contract at Spurs until the summer of 2021.
Football Insider verdict
Spurs fans will be a little disappointed to see N’Koudou go because of his wasted talent, but ultimately he is not needed in the squad. He has been reduced to substitute appearances after being one of Marseille’s star men and has struggled to adapt to the pace of English football. There is obvious potential with N’Koudou and it is a shame for him it did not work out in North London, but his move has not worked out, and for the sake of his career it is better if he moves on this summer.
