Watch – Pochettino shows the Spurs players how it's done on the field

By Alex Taylor

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has put his squad to shame after completing the cross bar challenge in style.

The Argentine joined Spurs in 2014 after a successful stint at Southampton, and his impressive handling of the squad prompted the Tottenham hierarchy to reward him with a contract that runs until 2021.

Despite his success managing the stars, Pochettino has proven himself as a gifted player too.

This footage was uploaded by Spurs TV and shows the former Southampton boss stepping up to the cross bar challenge in style.

The north London gaffer enjoyed the moment having endured a busy summer at the club.

Pochettino has completed the marquee signing of Vincent Janssen to support Harry Kane up front, whose 25 Premier League goals guided Spurs to a third-place finish last season.

Victor Wanyama has also been added to the squad to give depth to their midfield options, while they are on the brink of signing £11million Marseille youngster Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.

The new additions have been drafted in as Tottenham will look to compete both domestically and in the Champions League next season.

In other Tottenham team news, Spurs star Vincent Janssen has visited the Special Olympics clinic on the club’s pre-season tour of Australia.
