Pontus Jansson has urged Leeds to bounce back from their defeat to Barnsley on Saturday evening by all gathering together for the fixture against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
Garry Monk’s side were beaten 3-2 at their Yorkshire rivals with Jansson missing the fixture because of suspension.
The on-loan Torino centre-back picked up his tenth booking of the season in an FA Cup win against Cambridge and was serving his second and final suspension on Saturday night.
Nonetheless, the Whites, who are chasing promotion to the Premier League, took an early lead through striker Chris Wood.
However, after the break, they let their guard slip and conceded three goals in nine minutes in front of a noisy home crowd.
Despite Wood pulling one back from the penalty spot, Leeds went on to lose the match and Jansson had this to say on his personal Twitter account straight after the game.
The Yorkshire club will now take on league strugglers Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night in what will be a mouth-watering Championship match.
Forest, who are currently without a manager, beat Bristol City 1-0 in their game on Saturday afternoon, recording their second consecutive clean sheet – this despite only keeping one clean sheet prior to their two previous games.
But, the Midlands giants will have their work cut out as they will have to get past a team that has won their last four matches on home soil without conceding a goal.
In other Leeds news, this 25-year-old should be axed in three things we learned from Barnsley defeat.
